This includes Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, auditory processing, visual processing, ADHD, executive function, and organizational skills. Behaviors play an important part of children with learning disabilities such as anxiety, oppositional behavior, sensory integrations, and avoidance. It is essential that the behaviors are addressed as well as the learning issues. Students have different needs as they move through their school years. In my practice, I am constantly evaluating and changing interventions as my clients grow and move through each school year. Children come to me who have had psycho-educational assessments which enables me to know exactly the areas of disabilities. Some students come to me who have not had formal testing, so I assess to understand their academic needs. Either way, I develop interventions to remediate and ensure their academic success.
